Great calypso sound! This is a smaller version of a pan steel drum. Only from Woodstock! Made exclusively for Woodstock Percussion in Trinidad, this is a smaller version of the pan steel drums that are so famous there. Comes packaged with stand, mallets and songbook, it's a wonderful learning tool for children of all ages from 8 and up. The Woodstock Calypso Steel Drum uses a 9-note diatonic scale for ease of playing dr. Tuned to A=440. Range is from middle C, up one octave to high C (plus high D).
