The size and sound of the 14 Key Xylophone from is always impressive. The large gourds below the lower notes make for big sound and with extra long decay. The frame is built very sturdy, great for long life but a bit too bulky to be considered portable. The sound quality is very rich and tonal, very earthy and organic. Made in Ghana with Africa Heartwood Project, this xylophone is crafted in the traditional style of Burkina Faso and northern Ghana.
