Lee Oskar Melody Maker Harmonica - Key of C

Lee Oskar Melody Maker Harmonica - Key of C Review

Lee Oskar Melody Maker Harmonica - Key of C Feature

• Airtight
• All Components Replaceable
• Improved Second Position Bending

Lee Oskar Melody Maker Harmonica - Key of C Overview

Melody Makers are the best harps available for playing STANDARD SINGLE-NOTE MELODIES. They're great for playing COUNTRY, R&B, POP, WORLD BEAT, AFRICAN and REGGAE.This tuning makes it easier to play many songs...that can be difficult, or impossible, to play on a standard Major Diatonic...IN CROSS HARP.All of the notes that were missing on the Major Diatonic are right there on the Melody Maker! These harmonicas provide a complete major scale, in cross harp, for playing exact melody without bending. Yet, the draw notes can still be bent for that bluesy feeling!Melody Makers are designed to be played in cross harp (draw), not straight harp (blow). In cross harp, melodies can be played with an expressive, fluid style that is extremely difficult to achieve in straight harp.

12-key West African Xylophone Balafon Balaphone

12-key West African Xylophone Balafon Balaphone Review

12-key West African Xylophone Balafon Balaphone Feature

• After import from Africa, each instrument is cleaned, inspected, tuned, and played individually to check sound and quality.
• Heat dried keys to help maintain tonality and prevent cracking.
• Solid frame construction using hardwood, leather, and rope.
• Hand crafted in Africa by village cultural artisans supported by the non-profit Africa Heartwood Project .org.

12-key West African Xylophone Balafon Balaphone Overview

The 12 blade xylophone adds 2 notes lower than the 10 key, giving it more low end and more volume thanks to bigger gourds. Made in Ghana with Africa Heartwood Project, it is crafted in the traditional style of Burkina Faso and northern Ghana. The random tuning makes for very interesting and unique melodies and free improvisation. The pitch range is quite broad, from low notes that have long sustain because of the large gourds, and higher notes for quick response. This xylophone is covered by our satisfaction guarantee, and features: * Random low to high tuning, in keeping with use as a percussion instrument * Heat dried keys to help maintain tonality and prevent cracking * Solid frame construction using hardwood, leather, and rope * Full size gourds under each blade to amplify and sustain sound * Low notes rake upward to allow room for larger gourds * Two rubber mallets included with each balafon
